Ask Moshe

How Ask Moshe works

Ask Moshe is a concierge service for work around the home. You send one WhatsApp message describing the job. Moshe collects the details, takes them to vetted professionals, compares the quotes that come back, and returns to you with the best option. The service covers three trades: painting, cleaning, and moving. Using Ask Moshe is free, and you pay only the professional, for the work itself.

The steps

  1. You describe the job

Send Moshe a WhatsApp message and say what you need. Type it, record a voice note, or send photos. There is no form to fill in, and no need to know the right way to phrase it.

  2. Moshe builds the full picture of the job

Moshe asks what is needed to understand the job properly, and asks for photos where they help. The purpose is one thing: so a professional can price the job accurately instead of guessing.

  3. Moshe takes it to professionals

Moshe brings the details to several vetted professionals, shows them the job, and collects their quotes and availability. You get no calls from contractors, and you negotiate with nobody.

  4. Moshe compares the offers

Moshe looks at what came back: the price, the date, how long the work takes, and how well the professional fits this particular job. The comparing is our work, not yours.

  5. Moshe comes back with the best option

Moshe presents what came out best: the professional, the price, the date, and the duration. It arrives ready. All that is left for you is yes or no.

  6. Not right? Moshe keeps looking

If the offer does not suit you, there is little to explain. Moshe goes back to find a better match and returns with a new option. There is no commitment and no pressure to approve something that feels wrong.

  7. You approve, and from there it is direct

Once you approve, Moshe connects you and the professional. From that point the relationship is direct: final scheduling, payment, and the work itself are agreed between the two of you.

How do we vet professionals?

Every professional application is reviewed by our team before that professional takes a first job.

We speak to them

A real conversation with someone on the team, not a signup form and not an automated approval. In that conversation we explain exactly how we work and what is expected of them with a customer.

We review the application details

We review the name, business details, service area, trade, and experience the applicant provides.

The review is not a credential check

We do not verify licenses, credentials, insurance, or experience. Customers should confirm the details required for their job directly with the professional.

What Moshe does not do

Moshe is not the tradesperson

Moshe does not paint, clean, or move anything. The job is to find the right professional for your work and bring them to you.

Moshe does not quote upfront

The price comes only after Moshe has shown the job to professionals and collected their offers. A price given before that is a guess.

You do not shop around

You do not need to collect three quotes, compare them, or haggle. The comparing happens on our side, and you get the result.

Moshe does not take a cut

The service is free on both sides. The customer pays nothing for it, and the professional pays no commission on work that came through Moshe. The only payment in the process is the customer paying the professional, for the work itself.

What you can ask Moshe for

Painting

Apartments, homes, and offices, interior and exterior. Including work at height and scaffolding, spray painting, wall patching and prep before paint including damp and mould, and metal and iron painting.

Cleaning

One-time apartment cleaning: after renovation, before moving in, before moving out, or a deep clean.

Moving

Apartment and house moves, including packing and furniture disassembly and reassembly.

When are we available

Sunday to Thursday, 08:00 to 20:00 Israel time.

You can message Moshe at any hour. Collecting the details of the job carries on as normal outside those hours, and professionals are approached during working hours only.

The process moves by stage, not by clock. Once the details are complete, Moshe goes to professionals. When their offers come back, Moshe compares them and returns to you.

Where we operate

Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, and Givatayim. These are the cities the service covers today. A request for work outside them gets a reply explaining that the service does not operate there yet.
