Who we are
Ask Moshe ("company in formation") operates a service that connects customers with professionals. The service allows you to contact us via WhatsApp, describe a need (such as plumbing, electrical, carpentry, etc.), and receive a referral to a professional who may be a good fit. The Company does not perform the work itself and is not a party to the engagement between the customer and the professional — it only connects them.
Our role — locate and connect
Ask Moshe locates and connects customers with professionals. As part of the service, company representatives speak with the professionals registered with the service and choose which professional to forward to each request. A connection between a customer and a professional through Ask Moshe does not guarantee availability, safety, quality, or the results of the work. In addition, the Company does not verify that the selected professional holds professional licenses, certificates, registrations, insurance coverage, and/or experience.
From the moment of referral, the conversation, coordination, scope, pricing, payment, and performance of the work are between the customer and the professional alone and are their sole responsibility. Ask Moshe is not a party to that engagement and is not responsible for the content, agreements, performance, or payment between them.
Ask Moshe is not involved at any stage of the work itself: not in performance, not in supervision, not in scheduling, not in pricing, not in supplying materials, not in payment, not in refunds, and not in approving job completion. This applies to all types of work coordinated through us.
Ask Moshe does not guarantee that a match will be found for every request, and makes no commitment regarding response time or any outcome whatsoever. Ask Moshe is not a service provider, contractor, sub-contractor, agent, partner, employer, broker, trustee, insurer, or guarantor. The professional is independent only.
Professionals
The professionals the Company refers to are independent contractors. They are not employees, partners, or agents of Ask Moshe. Ask Moshe has no authority to instruct, supervise, or control how the work is performed.
Minimum age — 18 and over
The service is intended for people aged 18 and over only. Use by a minor requires the explicit consent of a parent or legal guardian.
If we learn that a minor used the service without the required consent, we will take steps to stop access and delete the data.
User responsibilities
By contacting the service, the user undertakes to provide accurate and truthful details (description of work, location, contact details). Ask Moshe may refuse to handle a request, block access, or report to authorities if there is reasonable suspicion of misuse, fraud, or breach of law.
Checking licenses, insurance, references, and pricing is the customer's sole responsibility. We recommend requesting a written quote and confirming professional liability insurance before any work begins.
Reviews and/or ratings displayed by Ask Moshe are not verified and do not constitute a recommendation, endorsement, or guarantee of any kind.
Prohibited use
Use of the service shall be for lawful purposes only. It is prohibited to use the service to: send spam or bulk messages; automatically collect information (scraping); interfere with the operation of the service; attempt to compromise computer systems; or use the service to compete with Ask Moshe without permission. A user may not impersonate another person and shall refrain from sending offensive, unlawful, or misleading content.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided AS IS, without any express or implied warranty. Ask Moshe is not liable for work quality, defects, workmanship, materials, property damage, personal injury, theft, delays, no-shows, cancellations, refunds, pricing disputes, scope disputes, conduct, or any other act, omission, or consequence of work performed by — or interaction with — a professional introduced through the service.
Ask Moshe is not liable for anything said, promised, agreed, miscommunicated, omitted, or disputed in the communications between the customer and the professional after Ask Moshe has made the introduction. Those communications, and any agreement reached in them, are between the customer and the professional only.
Ask Moshe is not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from reliance on the service, a referral to a professional, failure to find a match, content of communications, or technical faults.
To the extent permitted by Israeli law, Ask Moshe's total liability in any case shall not exceed the amount actually paid to Ask Moshe for that specific transaction — and if nothing was paid, Ask Moshe's liability is nil.
WhatsApp communications
The service is WhatsApp-based. By contacting us — including by sending a message through any WhatsApp form on this website — the user agrees to receive service messages related to that request: coordination, status updates, or a response from a professional. Use of WhatsApp is subject to WhatsApp's terms of service and privacy policy, available at https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/. Ask Moshe is not a party to those terms and policies and bears no liability of any kind in connection with them or the user's use of WhatsApp's services.
Ask Moshe will not send marketing messages, promotions, or newsletters without separate explicit consent. You may opt out at any time by sending the word "הסר" in the WhatsApp conversation.
Links and third-party services
The service may rely on third-party services, such as Meta's WhatsApp Business. The Company is not responsible for their content, privacy policies, availability, or any damage arising from them. Use of these services is at the user's sole risk.
Use of content provided by the user
By contacting the service, the user grants the Company a limited right to use the information provided (work description, location, contact details) solely for the purpose of providing the service. This does not constitute a transfer of ownership of the information, and the use is subject to the privacy policy.
Intellectual property
The website, logo, brand name, original content, service, and all related systems are owned by or licensed to Ask Moshe. They may not be copied, distributed, or used without express written permission.
Use of the service grants only a limited, personal, non-transferable right to use the service.
Termination of service
Ask Moshe may stop providing service to any user, at any time, if there is suspicion of misuse, breach of these terms, breach of law, harassment of professionals, or for operational reasons.
Ask Moshe may discontinue the service in whole or in part for any period, with advance notice where reasonably possible.
Changes to terms
Ask Moshe may update these terms. A material update will be published on the website with a new effective date. Continued use of the service after such an update constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. A non-material change takes effect upon publication, without further notice.
Since most users arrive via WhatsApp and do not hold a registered account, we recommend checking this page periodically.
Dispute resolution
Before filing a claim, the parties will act in good faith to resolve the dispute directly. You may contact the Company at [email protected] and allow 14 days to respond before approaching the courts.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel. Exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute shall be in the competent courts in Israel, with exclusive local jurisdiction in the courts of Tel Aviv–Jaffa.
